An explanation about the number of doses in Symbicort Turbuhaler. The dose counter does not go down in individual numbers and it looks like it does not move at all after the first few inhalations. The dial showing the number of doses moves very slowly and goes in 20s or 30s therefore you need to use it quite a lot to see the numbers decrease. It may go from 120 to 100 then 80 etc or 120 – 90 – 60 – 30 etc. It is just how the inhaler device is designed.
